Can you work both independently and as a member of a team? Enjoy investigating situations to confirm facts and determine who’s financially responsible for someone’s injuries? Are you a strong negotiator?

Consider starting your Farmers career as a Workers Compensation claims representative. In a typical day, you’ll:

  • investigate on-the-job injuries,


  • determine who’s responsible for medical costs incurred by the injured worker,


  • negotiate settlement of on-the-job injury claims, and


  • refer possible fraudulent claims to Farmers’ special investigations unit, and identify opportunities to recover funds for the company and our customers.

Basic training:

  • Comprehensive field training, learning from experienced CRs and mentors.


  • Coursework and hands-on claims investigation practice at the University of Farmers, Claims, in Agoura Hills, California.
