Building community
The Farmers family is a part of every community in which we do business.
- Our Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Foundation College Scholarship program – now in its 50th year – provides up to $4,000 a year in undergraduate scholarship aid to the children of Farmers employees, agents and district managers.
- Farmers is expanding its California-based Emerging Scholars program nationwide – providing scholarships to students attending United Negro College Fund or Historically Black College or University schools, whether or not they’re relatives of a Farmers employee.
- We promote ridesharing at every Farmers facility, and we’re converting the company fleet to energy efficient, “clean” cars as vehicles are replaced.
